Fennec Health

Hear what the data is saying.

Fennec helps hospital quality teams collect clean data, follow up on it, and prove when care got safer.

Illustrative run chart: after an annotated change, the points fall below the baseline median and stay there; the sixth in a row is flagged worth a look. Change annotated Worth a look
Illustrative. No real data.

A signal is not a verdict.

The rules detect non-random variation. They don’t prove improvement and they don’t assign cause. Fennec presents a signal as “worth a look”.

Signals are opt-in.

Signal detection is on for run charts and control charts and off everywhere else. A chart that flags everything teaches people to ignore flags.

Missing is not zero.

A period with no data collected is a gap in the series, not a zero. A zero denominator never plots as 0%.
